The objective of ETH NADEL is to inspire and train the next generation for global cooperation to implement the 2030 agenda for sustainable and equitable development.

NADEL has an alumni network of over 1500 graduates working around the world in international organisations, civil society and industry, contributing to a more sustainable and equitable world.
NADEL Podcast
NADEL is co-directed by Professor Isabel Günther and Dr Fritz Brugger. An interdisciplinary team of senior lecturers works in cooperation with a range of renowned ETH scientists and practitioners from various international, governmental, non-governmental and private development organisations.

Code of Conduct
We aim to inspire students to take action for a more sustainable and inclusive world. In this spirit the team members of NADEL follow a ecological and social Download Code of Conduct (PDF, 1.6 MB) – also day to day in the office.
Development Economics Group (DEC)
NADEL's learning activities are closely linked to the research conducted by the ETH Development Economics Group. The group’s research activities concentrate on policies and technologies for global poverty reduction.
ETH for Development
ETH4D links researchers from engineering, natural and social sciences with civil society, NGOs, governments and industry to develop and scale innovations for the global population.
