In memoriam Prof. em. Dr. Martin Menzi

 Prof. em. Dr. Martin Menzi was the first director of NADEL (1981-1991). He played a decisive role in shaping NADEL and established the idea of combining introductory studies at ETH Zurich with an extended project assignment overseas followed by a second study semester at ETH. Today, the Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) programme at NADEL is still based on this structure.
