Course: The Basics of Development Cooperation

From 6-8 June 2024, ETH NADEL is offering a course for practitioners with no formal training in international cooperation or development studies.

This three-day course covers the basics that every development and cooperation practitioner should know, including how development cooperation has evolved over the years, what lessons have been learned from the past, and what is considered best practice today. It also covers practical aspects, including the essentials of project cycle management and donor reporting.

The course is aimed at practitioners working on small development projects or initiatives, or who have a keen interest in the field. It is not part of any formal qualification or training. There are no ECTS points associated with this course, but participants will receive a certificate of completion.
