Open Your Eyes: Open-air Photo Festival
From 8 September to 15 October, the city or Zurich will transform into an open-air exhibition on the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals. ETH Zurich complements the exhibition with research results on the SDGs.

From September 8 to October 15, 2023, OPEN YOUR EYES will present a festival of creative photography to the public in Zurich – as a plea for understanding the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals. The photographs will be exhibited in the streets, squares and parks of Zurich.
The exhibition consists of 17 theme islands, each with one or two narratives on one of the SDGs. ETH Zürich complements the theme islands with relevant research results.
The theme islands can be reached on foot or by public transport. The tour is divided into a city route from the Polyterrasse of the ETH Zurich via the Lindenhof down to the Limmat around the old town churches to Bellevue and a lake route from the General Guisan Quai to the lakeside resort of Enge.
At General Guisan Quai, you can learn more about how Isabel Guenther, Fritz Brugger and Adina Rom are committed to SDG1, No Poverty; at Münsterhof, you'll find out about Joschka Proksik's contribution to SDG 12, Reponsible Consumption; and at Seebad Enge you'll discover Medinat Malefakis' contribution to SDG 16, Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.
