On 28 June 2023, NADEL hosted an inspiring event with external page Dr. Eugenia Cheng, a mathematician exploring pure mathematics’ role in advancing gender equality. She challenges the notion of labeling behaviors as masculine or feminine and urges us to separate character traits from gender. Dr. Cheng introduces new terms like "ingressive" ("going into things") and "congressive" ("bringing things together") to start a fresh conversation.
