Course objective:
This course provides a foundation in the principles, techniques, and strategies for storytelling in the context of systems change. It emphasizes storytelling approaches that convey the complexity of change and offers fresh perspectives on roles and responsibilities within the storytelling process. The ethical aspects of constructing narratives, such as authenticity, inclusivity, and respect are integral to the course.
Participants will learn the psychology of storytelling and acquire the skills to use character, plot, setting, lens, and conflict, to craft compelling narratives suited to different audiences. They will explore the intersections of stories, research, and evidence, resulting in valuable insights for project cycle management.
