New study regulations

As of the Autumn Semester 2024, new study regulations will come into force.

1. Change of programme name

The name of the programme will change from CAS ETH in Development and Cooperation to CAS ETH in Global Cooperation and Sustainable Development from the Autumn Semester 2024. Students who have registered for the programme up to and including the Spring Semester 2024 will graduate according to the old regulations. The diploma awarded to these students will be that of CAS ETH in Development and Cooperation.

2. ECTS points

From the Autumn Semester 2024, 15 ECTS points are required for graduation.
The calculation of ECTS points per course has already been adjusted for the Spring Semester 2024.
In individual cases, this may mean that students enrolled before the Autumn Semester 2024 will be able to complete the CAS with fewer modules since 10 ECTS points are required for graduation under the old regulations.
