Kathrin Durizzo is a PhD student at ETH NADEL since March 2019. Her research focuses on health systems governance for an inclusive and sustainable social health protection in Tanzania and Ghana.
Prior to her PhD, Kathrin worked as a research assistant at ETH NADEL, where she was involved in the project on social health protection systems in Tanzania and Ghana. Besides her studies, she worked as a research assistant at the University of Zurich supporting Prof. D. Pomeranz and Prof. L. Casaburi in a research project on taxation in Kenya, and as a consultant at econcept AG in projects for the national government, such as the Federal Office of Public Health or the State Secretary for Education, Research and Innovation.
She holds a Master Degree in Economics with a minor in Data Science from the University of Zurich and a Bachelor Degree in Business and Economics with a major in Economics from the University of Basel.
