The external pageConnecting the EdTech Research EcoSystem (CERES) Network is a collaborative network founded at the University of California-Irvine. It brings together scholars and practitioners from diverse fields such as education, technology, computer science, psychology, neuroscience, and others to develop digital technologies that help bridge the growing inequalities in access to education for young learners. Besides contributing to EdTech, the CERES network also provides a unique opportunity for young scholars to develop their own expertise and build new interdisciplinary networks.

Frank's research, which focuses on improving inclusive learning conditions, fits well with the five main themes of the CERES network: The first is on accessible education, which focuses on access to technologies to reduce growing inequalities in children’s learning and development related to their special needs. The second is related to computer-supported collaborative learning, which investigates ways in which individual learning technologies can be used as part of a larger context to support learners.

During the one-year fellowship, Frank will benefit from mentorship, access to unique datasets, research support and connections to researchers and EdTech experts across the world. He will also participate in a summer intensive, present his findings at CERES events, and produce scholarly output, such as a paper in a peer reviewed journal or a presentation at a recognized conference.

We wish Frank all the best and many exciting experiences for his fellowship!
