"Natural Resource Governance and Development: Policies & Practice”: This international course equips professionals with the knowledge and analytical tools to examine the political economy of governance in resource-rich states and to explore how it impacts domestic policy debates and practice.

The second edition of this advanced course, jointly offered by the Natural Governance Institute NRGI and ETH NADEL, will take place online from 27 September to 19 November 2021. “We at ETH-NADEL are looking forward to continue and expand our cooperation with NRGI to equip practitioners in resource-dependent economies with the latest knowledge from research and hand-on tools to use resource revenues for sustainable development", says Dr. Fritz Brugger, Co-Head of NADEL – Center for Development and Cooperation at ETH Zurich.

The course will be structured along an introductory self-study phase and an intense live phase with a series of core live lectures by world class experts on different topics around natural resource governance. Participants will also have the possibility to interact with their peers and refresh their knowledge and skills, to attend supplementary optional sessions and sign-up for online one-on-one clinics with our experts to discuss individual challenges they face in their countries.

Applications open from 21 June to 28 July 2021.
