Evaluation of Projects and Programmes

This class uses practical examples and peer interaction to deepen participants' understanding of planning, accompanying and appraising evaluations of projects and programs in international cooperation, from the perspective of a commissioning officer.

Course objective:

The course enables participants — from the perspective of the commissioning agency — to plan, accompany, and appraise evaluation processes in international cooperation. Participants gain the knowledge and skills to apply various methods for analysing project and programme processes and results, and to use evaluation findings within the project/programme management cycle. Practical examples connect the content to participants'own working realities.
